It is a professional manufacturer of rugged tablets and handheld devices, as well as a leader in the rugged computer industry. Their products are widely used in niche industries such as aerospace, maritime, military and law enforcement, IoT, transportation, vehicle maintenance and inspection, hospital management, petrochemicals, and process control.
In terms of R&D achievements, in 2017, they successfully developed hospital-grade equipment and automated production equipment for smart factories. They have applied these to various industries, such as vehicle inspection and in-vehicle applications, including the installation and design of multifunctional mini-computers and in-vehicle computers for forklifts and trucks, which help reduce delivery times and human errors, thereby improving logistics efficiency. In the military maritime sector, they developed 4K-UHD naval displays and fully introduced capacitive touch panels. To follow the trend of unmanned smart factories, they developed slim industrial computers, integrated capacitive touch panels, and M12 waterproof connectors, enhancing the ruggedness and waterproof features, making them essential production equipment for smart factories. Investment Plan of New Taipei City
With the advent of the IoT era, industrial computers have become a crucial force in driving the IoT wave. In particular, the industrial AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) is expected to deeply impact industries, value chains, business models, and workforce development over the next decade. In line with the "Industrial Zone Vertical Development Plan" policy, they will establish a global operations headquarters in Sanchong, New Taipei, with nine floors above ground and three underground, with an investment amount reaching NT$1.5 billion, which is expected to create 500 job opportunities.
