Company Introduction
Founded in 2005, Yuan Workshop began with herbal soap and has since expanded to personal care products, fragrance products, body care products, and pet cleaning products. Yuan has achieved remarkable success in managing its local brand and has made significant progress in overseas market expansion, with presence in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Japan, and China.
Yuan takes inspiration from plants and adheres to the initial intention of "Cherishing the body, put themselves in someone's shoes." Yuan Farm was established to grow medicinal herbs using natural farming methods and insists on using natural spring water from the Wanli mountain area for soap production.
Yuan values ecological protection and green sustainability, practicing 'land ethics' and 'aesthetics of labor.' It promotes "community building" to encourage collective labor among town residents, creating a sustainable business environment and enhancing the shared economic value of local revitalization.
Yuan implements CSR principles by continuously enhancing the added value and social responsibility of traditional local industries through supplier cooperation, manufacturer management, innovative services, product content, social issues, environmental protection, and social care. It aims to realize the corporate vision of 'co-working,' 'co-creating,' 'co-existence,' and 'co-benefits.'
Investment Plan of New Taipei City
Yuan Workshop plans to invest NT$600 million to construct a factory in the Shimen District. The building will combine the aesthetics of traditional three-sided courtyards and the "round sky and square earth" concept of green architecture. Through the design concepts of planting, corridors, and north-south facing windows, the building will achieve natural ventilation, shading, and lighting effects, emphasizing low-carbon, sustainability, and environmental protection.
This project is expected to create 200 job opportunities in Shimen District, bring vitality to the local industrial development, and, through the company's R&D and innovation capabilities, promote local culture and the characteristics of the herbal agriculture industry.
