BES was founded in 1965. It was initially a government-run enterprise under the Ministry of Economic Affairs. Currently, it is a publicly trading company owned by the Core Pacific Group.
BES started accepting government tenders to handle the development, leasing, and sales of industrial parks in 1970. As of 2019, the company has developed 37 industrial park locations, making it a leader in Taiwan's industrial park development.
BES increased its investment in the Tucheng Industrial Park to promote the development of the AI industry and assist the Executive Yuan and New Taipei City Government in promoting the Industrial Park Development Park program and Urban Renewal Plan. The company focuses on consolidating cloud services, big data management, IoT, and smart automation and introducing knowledge-, intelligence-, green energy-, and AI-related businesses to the park.
Experience sharing
BES AI Park has the full support of the New Taipei City Government. Different departments help BES in sewage discharge, cadastral division, air track establishment, and public daycare planning. The government also helped accelerate the review of urban renewal and design proposal, being a key component in the success of this investment project and laying a solid foundation for the future development of AI-related industries in New Taipei City.
