Kerry TJ Logistics Company Limited was established
in 1954, and it was the former Darong Transportation Company. It starts its
business from the domestic cargo transportation, including the agricultural
products delivery service from the rural areas like costal seafood to fruits in
Lishan. Currently, our company possesses more than 4,000 employees and more
than 3,000 vehicles. Our service stations and teams of vehicles are everywhere
all over Taiwan and in the off-island areas. It is one of the main
transportation and logistics service providers in Taiwan.
In terms of business
expansion, Kerry TJ repositioned its
business scope in 2008 to include less-than-truck-load transport, room
temperature logistics, low temperature warehouse, and low temperature delivery
as well as pharmaceutical logistics, sea and air freight, and customs clearance
to provide one-stop value-added service. We expect to integrate group’s global
resources and dense logistics network, construct mutual beneficial customer and
partner relationship, successfully create the quality and brand image of Kerry
TJ to achieve our visions of extensive presence in Taiwan, moving towards Asia,
and embracing the whole world.
New Taipei City Investment plan
Xizhi has the advantages of being the meeting
point of two national freeways and being close to abundant industrial clusters
in Keelung, Neihu, and Nangang. Based on the traffic location and high
accessibility, Kerry TJ plans to invest more than $1 billion to establish a
technology logistics park to link the industrial chains of biotechnology and
ICT in Greater Taipei Area and satisfy the demand of timely home delivery among the population in Taipei metropolitan
area. It is estimated that the construction will be completed before 2025 and the use license will be obtained. It will create 450 jobs.
The park is a 4-floor
overground green building logistics plant, and it will be equipped with intelligent
warehousing, automatic guided vehicle, shuttle rack, and pallet conveyor. Floor 1 and Floor 2 are room
temperature logistics center of the delivery service required by zero touch
economy for e-commerce. Floor 3 and Floor 4 are the pharmaceutical cold chain
logistics center to offer one-stop logistics service for the warehousing and
complete delivery of COVID-19 vaccines. Besides, we also assist the cold chain
warehousing of biomedical appliances, like intraocular lens, artificial kidney,
cardiac catheter, and temporary anchorage
device. We work with many pharmaceutical associations to create complete and
professional pharmaceutical logistics services.

Along with the post-epidemic era, stay-at-home
economy and the demand of vaccine storage and delivery are increasing. No
matter our customers are individuals or enterprises, the logistics industry
must go along with the market trend and deploy actively to maintain the leading
position in the logistics services.
Therefore, we really
appreciate the effort of striving suitable land for industries done by New
Taipei City Government. They activate the existing idle military camp to release
Type B Industrial District of 4.959 square meters in Xizhi Area, which has a
cluster of transportation and warehousing industry and available land approach
to saturation. Moreover, the City Government continues helping us eliminate
obstacles for our investment after signing the contract so that Kerry TJ has no
worries and can concentrate on the development of business.
