HCT Logistics (hereinafter referred to as HCT) was
established in 1938. For more than 80 years, it continues innovating and breaking
through from a traditional transportation company to a modern service provider.
It offers comprehensive logistics services through the integration of logistic
flow, business flow, money flow, and information flow. In 2019, it achieved
annual turnover of $17.5 billion, annual growth rate of 12%, and annual
collection on delivery $27 billion. It becomes the leading brand in the
logistics industry in Taiwan and was ranked 99th in the service
industry in 2019 surveyed by CommonWealth Magazine. It is the number one in the
local transportation industry.
HCT has a team of 3,500 vehicles and delivers 0.6
million parcels in average every day to around 0.3 people. They deal with
customers and provide services to the logistics demand from 60,000 companies.
Through the diverse professional services of store delivery, home delivery,
valuable item delivery, and collection on delivery to achieve the important
mission of the last part of customers’ supply chain.
Highly Confident Transportation (HCT) means HCT
continues innovating and breaking through to provide high-quality and
high-efficiency logistics services. HCT integrates logistics flow, business
flow, money flow, and information flow into a comprehensive logistics services.
Meanwhile, it steps into marketing channel logistics and upgrades from
professional 3PL to solution provider 4PL to offer management, distribution,
and marketing services. It innovates business models and constructs escrow
logistics service to find channels for products as well as find products for
channels. Moreover, it provides the services of processing product orders, customer
service, logistics, payment collection, and business transaction. In response
to the new trend of international logistics and cross-border logistics
development, it started to establish sea freight and air freight cross-border
logistics transshipment centers in Taipei City, New Taipei City, and Taoyuan
City one after another starting from April 2016.

Taipei Port has the scale of an international
harbor. The role of an international harbor is to promote the development of
national economy and local prosperity. Its actual operating performance grows
every year. Through “the development of New Taipei City driven by Taipei Port and the enhancement of
international competitiveness of Taipei Port based on the development of New
Taipei City”, it creates win-win situation for the port and the city.
In terms of an international harbor, it not only
provides the service of vessel berthing but can also create more values. The
values created will determine the competitiveness of the port. From the concept
of clusters of values, the competitive advantage of a port is not limited to
the efficiency of operation; instead, it is a value created by a lot of service
providers together to satisfy the diverse demands among users and become a part
of clusters of values.
We plan to establish “International Logistics Sea
Express and Northern region Transshipment Center” here to provide services of
cross-border e-commerce, domestic delivery, transshipment hub, and warehouse
management. Other than creating employment opportunities, it will further drive
logistics flow, business flow, and customer flow when Danjiang Bridge is open
to traffic to promote regional social and economic prosperity.
Experience sharing
To enhance the active
economy at Taipei Port in Bali, New Taipei City, New Taipei City Government
provides objects at restricted industrial district in Taipei Port to satisfy the
land demands among enterprises, increase employment opportunities, activate
city-owned lands, and drive the whole economic development in New Taipei City. We
launched a business recruitment project. During the process, the team in New
Taipei City Government executed efficiently and rapidly. All the questions
